So much happened in the twentieth century after the list was finished. Spengler's "Decline of the West," (# 100) was published in 1918. The writings of Abraham Lincoln are #95 and he died in 1865. Perhaps there were other articles written that I am unaware of that would continue the list into the rest of the 20th century, but now it is up to each of us to so for ourselves. That may be something that can be added to this site at a later date, to try and encompass all the changes that have occurred since the list was first published.
